The NIA atelier in Cairo
About

NIA is a quiet hand, working in Cairo.

NIA was founded as a study in restraint — fine jewellery designed and made slowly, in small numbers, by a single hand in a small atelier in Cairo.

Each piece begins as a drawing, then a wax, then a casting, then weeks of hand-finishing. Nothing is duplicated exactly. Every Étude is its own quiet object.

The tulip cut is the founding gesture of the house — a soft, six-sided form drawn from the flower itself. It carries light differently than any other cut, and it is the thread that runs through Collection I.
